Book Launch for “Song of the Mango and Other New Myths”!

Apologies for the silence of the last few months. I got very busy with, among other things, the book production process of my first traditionally published short story collection. And now…

…it’s finally here, in all its glory.

In recent years, I’ve come to believe that authors should be able to append notes to their pieces whenever possible. If you happen to be the kind of person who likes reading the stories behind the story, you can mosey on over to the Story Notes page of my website and click the title of your choice.

And if you happen to be in Manila on December 10, come join me for the book launch at Hub, 3/F Fully Booked BGC, 2-4pm! Some of the illustrators who contributed interior art will be selling prints and stickers. Don’t forget to register interest on the form, as seating is limited.

Lastly, if you’re outside of the Philippines and would like to purchase a copy, you can drop the press an email at books.unipress@ateneo.edu and they’ll give you a shipping quote. For local readers, the purchase links will be up on the press’s website, Lazada, and Shopee very soon. And of course, you can buy a copy at Fully Booked during and after the launch!

I can’t believe this is finally happening. I’ve been dreaming about having a traditionally published book and having a book launch (at Fully Booked’s flagship store, no less!) for so long…and now that time is finally here. It feels surreal!
